Reader Nation is a multi-genre signing event hosted by Author Ventures LLC—the team behind Author Nation, the world’s largest indie author conference.
At its heart, Reader Nation is a celebration of storytelling in all its forms. With more than 200 participating authors across every genre, the event brings readers face-to-face with the stories that made them laugh, cry, stay up too late, text a friend, “You have to read this,” and maybe even toss a book across the room in frustration at a particularly egregious cliffhanger.
In a world crowded with screens, algorithms, and endless digital noise, we believe in the irreplaceable power of being in the same room. There’s nothing quite like standing across a table from the person who wrote the book you loved and creating those unforgettable “I can’t believe I just met them” moments.
Reader Nation is also designed for discovery. You might arrive to meet a favorite author, but the real magic often happens when you stumble into something unexpected—bonding over a shared enemies-to-lovers obsession during a DIY bookmark session, getting a spot-on book recommendation from an author who instantly understands your taste, or being drawn in by a shimmering foil cover across the aisle. At Reader Nation, stories come alive in a room full of people who love books as deeply as you do.
We are especially committed to uplifting indie and emerging authors; writers who may still be building their audience, but are overflowing with stories worth discovering. Indie publishing is where creativity runs free, and Reader Nation exists to give those voices space, visibility, and direct connection with the readers who make it all possible.
To support our mission of helping authors create sustainable, creative, and financially independent careers, we built The Signing Store. This centralized system removes the stress of shipping and inventory management. With print-on-demand preorders directly shipped to the venue and access to customer data, authors can eliminate the stress of getting books to events and instead focus on what matters most: connecting with readers and building relationships that last long after the last Sharpie runs dry.
While Author Ventures LLC is a privately held company, Reader Nation is shaped by the voices of our 3,000+ author and reader community. That community actively informs our programming, helps guide professional standards, and contributes to the culture of respect and inclusivity we strive to maintain at every event. Reader Nation 2026 is in the Event Center at the Horseshoe Las Vegas. The address is 3645 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
The signing runs from 9 am – 4 pm for VIP attendees and 10:30 am – 4pm for General Admission attendees.
Registration is in Palaces 3, 4, & 5.

Every attendee receives a free ticket, which provides entry to the signing expo and the option to upgrade to VIP for $150.

Yes, we will have a FedEx table with 20- and 50-pound boxes ready to ship back your books. We are making it as simple as possible to come to the show, buy all your amazing goodies, and deliver them straight to your reading cave.
Yes, we have a group block at the Horseshoe & Paris hotels.
The room rate for 2026 in our block starts from $109 in Horseshoe and $199 in Paris, depending on the night. There is an additional $15 per day resort fee ($17.01 with tax). Reservations must be made by October 8, 2026, to receive the group rate. After this date, the rate will depend on hotel availability.
