That moment of discovery might come while bonding over your favorite enemies-to-lovers arc during a DIY bookmark session, getting a personalized book rec from an author who just gets your taste, or being drawn in by the shimmer of foil and hand-lettered signage across the aisle.

Reader Nation 2025 is in the Paris Ballroom at the Paris Las Vegas. The address is 3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.

The signing runs from 10am-4pm. Since admission is free, just show up at registration, and we will get you checked in. No need to have anything, we will have your name in our system.

If you are driving and self-park, the ballroom is at the bottom of the escalators from the parking garage. If you are coming in from the main lobby you'll need to make your way through the casino.

Here’s how it works:

2. Create a reader account or log in to your existing account.
3. Browse and select books to pre-order.
4. At the event, pick up your books hassle-free at the author’s table where they will be waiting for you during the signing.

Every attendee receives a free ticket, which provides entry to Friday's book signing and the option to add a VIP Swag Bag. The first 1000 ticket holders will receive one free book and a standard tote bag to carry home your new books.

Meeting James Patterson is by lottery selection only.

All Reader Nation ticket holders were automatically entered into the lottery, and selected winners have been notified by email.

If you received a winner confirmation, you’ll receive a wristband at registration along with a designated 15-minute timeslot for your signing.

• VIP Bag Holders: Your fifth book will be a free copy of Disrupt Everything—and Win: Take Control of Your Future to have signed during your slot. This book will not be in your bag—it will be provided at James’s signing table.

• General Admission Readers: You’ll receive your free tote at registration, and your free book will be available at the signing table during your assigned time.

• Line-up at registration begins at 9:45 AM

• Doors open at 10:00 AM

• James Patterson will be signing from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (90 minutes)

Yes, we will have a FedEx table with 20- and 50-pound boxes ready to ship back your books. We are making it as simple as possible to come to the show, buy all your amazing goodies, and deliver them straight to your reading cave.

Yes, we have a group block at the Horseshoe Hotel & Casino. 

The room rate for 2025 in our block is $142 to $182, depending on the night. There is an additional $15 per day resort fee ($17.01 with tax). Reservations must be made by October 2, 2025, to receive the group rate. After this date, the rate will depend on hotel availability.

Ticket Refunds:

• Reader tickets are fully refundable up to September 30th, 2025.
• After that date, the amount you paid will be automatically transferred to a ticket for the 2026 event.
• To request a refund or transfer, please email us at hello@authorventuresllc.com.

Pre-Order Refunds:

• Pre-orders for books managed through The Signing Store can be canceled and refunded up until the pre-order cutoff date of September 30th, 2025.
• After this date, the books will have already been paid for and produced. Refunds or alternative solutions will then be at the discretion of the individual author.
• To request a refund, please email us at hello@authorventuresllc.com.

Policy Enforcement:

Violations of this policy may result in removal from the event without a refund.

Reporting a Violation:

If you witness or experience a violation of this Code of Conduct:

• Submit a confidential report to our Professional Conduct Committee here or via the QR code displayed at the event.
• We will follow up within 24 hours with next steps.
